The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment has launched the pensioenduidelijkheid.nl website. You may have seen or heard about this on TV, radio and online. On this website, the government explains why the statutory pension rules have been amended and what the new pension rules entail.

At the moment nothing will change about your pension or the pension scheme
All pension providers in the Netherlands have until 1 January 2028 to adjust the pension schemes to the new statutory pension rules. Participants of Philips Pensioenfonds are expected to transfer to a new pension scheme in 2026. Until then, you will continue to accrue pension or receive pension from the current pension scheme. After all, some steps still need to be taken before the new pension scheme is in place. Your employer and the trade unions are the first to act to translate the new rules into a new pension scheme.
