the different login methods

  • If you do not succeed in logging in or if you need help with logging in, you can download our login guide and follow the steps.

  • You have to identify yourself in two steps instead of in one step via the DigiD app or via DigiD with SMS verification. This means that your confidential data in MijnPPF is better protected. Soon it will be a legally required to only offer login methods that require you to identify yourself twice. You can opt for these safer DigiD methods via www.digid.nl/inlog methods.

  • DigiD can be used by:

    • all residents of the Netherlands with a BSN number.
    • people who live outside the Netherlands, but receive AOW from the Netherlands.
  • You can choose to receive the text message as a voice message on your landline. This way you can still log in securely, even if you don't have a mobile phone. You can read how this works on the website of the national government.

  • You can read to which countries this applies on the website of the national government. This list is updated regularly.

  • If you can use DigiD or a digital EU identity, you can no longer log in with the alternative MijnPPF account. The law stipulates that we must let you log in via DigiD or with a European-approved identity. Your account will stop working once you have logged in via one of the other methods. These methods are more secure because they require you to identify yourself in two steps instead of in one step.

  • At the moment you can only log in with the alternative MijnPPF account (no DigiD) if you do not have the option to log in via DigiD or via a digital EU identity. This login method is currently based on one-step identification, namely your password. This method of logging in does not meet the highest security standard. For that reason, you cannot make changes if you are logged in this way. Soon, this login method will also require you to identify yourself in two steps instead of in one step. You will be informed about this later.
