Video calls are great for getting answers to questions about your pension, or the choices available to you when you retire. A video call is secure and personal. With a video call, we can see and hear each other. The advantage of a video call is that we can show each other information through the shared screen. Video calls are conducted using a secure link, so your privacy will be protected.

Video calls: a step by step guide
Making an appointment and conducting a video call is really easy.
- Choose a date and time in the booking calendar
- Fill in the requested details
- You will receive an e-mail with a verification code
- You enter the verification code on the booking page and the appointment is made
- You will receive an e-mail with a secure link
- At the time of the appointment, you click on the secure link
- The online pension interview with the Pension Service employee then starts

How does it work?
A video call is actually exactly the same as having a live pension consultation at our offices, but instead of a face-to-face consultation it uses video. All the matters that can be discussed in a live pension consultation can be discussed this way. You can also ask questions, and we can look at your MijnPPF directly with you.
Naturally, you only want to discuss your personal situation in a secure environment, whether online or in person. Your privacy is as important to us as it is to you. So we offer video calling in a secure environment. You will be sent a personal link enabling you to talk to our Service Desk in a one-on-one situation.
During the online pension consultation, we will explain the pension scheme, discuss the choices available to you when you retire and the consequences for your pension in case of changes to your situation, such as divorce or occupational disability. We can inform you about all these topics, so you are capable of making your choices.
You will be sent an e-mail with a personal link. Open this link in a modern, updated browser such as Chrome, Edge or Safari using your desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. It does help to have a large screen during a video call, as the information will be more readable when sharing the screen.
