Full indexation of our pensions at 1 April 2026

How much of a pension increase is sensible as of 1 April 2026, so that every participant can make a good start in the new pension scheme that will apply from 2027? Our Board has recently answered that question. In 2026, we are able to fully increase our participants’ pensions in line with our ambition. We can grant this increase because we are applying the more lenient indexation rules.

In memory of Coen Reuvers

This week we received the sad news that Coen Reuvers passed away on 4 January 2026 at the age of 72. Coen was, until recently, a board member representing pension recipients at Philips Pensioenfonds. We knew him as a calm, dedicated board member with strong financial expertise and a sharp eye for the position and interests of our participants.

The Board will decide in March how much indexation is justified

In the coming months, the Board will again consider the extent to which your pension can be increased as of 1 April 2024. Until the transition to the new pension system, the Board annually assesses which pension increase (indexation) is responsible.

Since 1 July 2023, new pension rules have been in force. The government has launched a campaign and an online platform to explain the new pension rules in more detail: pensioenduidelijkheid.nl.

Uniform Pension Statement 2023 available to anyone no longer in employment

The Uniform Pension Statement 2023 is available to all non-contributory policyholders (those who are no longer employed but still have a pension with Philips Pension Fund).
