Annual statement 2024 and pension specification 2025

In recent years, as a pension beneficiary, you received the pension specification for January and the annual statement for the previous year at the same time. From 2025, you will still receive both documents at the beginning of January, but no longer at exactly the same time.

Agreements on new pension plan are known

The social partners have made agreements about the new pension plan of Philips Pensioenfonds. In May 2024 it was already announced that the so-called solidarity-based contribution plan had been chosen. All agreements about the new pension plan have now been included in the ‘transition plan’.

Switch to new pension plan scheduled for 1 January 2027

In about two years, all our members (active members, pension beneficiaries and members with a non-contributory policy) will switch to a new pension plan that aligns with the new legal rules for pensions. We recently decided on the scheduled date for the switch to the new pension plan: 1 January 2027.

Donation from pensioners transferred to KWF

On behalf of the pensioners, Philips Pensioenfonds has transferred an amount of € 97,676.48 to KWF Kankerbestrijding this month.

No elections for Board of Trustees

Philips Pensioenfonds has received an electoral list exclusively from the Federation of Philips Associations of Pensioners (FPVG). Because this organization is the only one to have submitted a list of candidates and no individual candidates have applied, no elections will follow.

Announcement

On 1 September 2025, Jasper Kemme (61) will resign as Managing Director and Chairman of the Executive Board of Philips Pensioenfonds. On that date, it will be exactly 30 years ago that Jasper joined the Philips Pensioenfonds. And by then, the most important decisions on the transition to the new pension plan (in 2026) will have been taken.

Annual report 2023 published

In our annual report you can read all about the developments in the past year. You read that we ended the year with a healthy financial situation, which allowed us to fully increase pensions in 2024. 2023 is also the year in which the Future Pensions Act came into effect.

Philips Pensioenfonds to administer a solidarity-based contribution plan

Philips and the unions have agreed on the general form of the pension plan under the Dutch Future of Pensions Act (Wet toekomst pensioenen). The key point on which they have agreed is that we will switch to a solidarity-based contribution plan. Philips Pensioenfonds will implement this plan for all pension beneficiaries, active members and policyholders of Philips Pensioenfonds.
