Video: 'Philips Pensioenfonds explains'
In 2026, new pension rules will apply for you, the new pension scheme will follow the rules as established in the Future Pensions Act. In the new pension scheme you will receive your own 'personal pension capital', and when you retire your montly pension income will be paid, from this personal capital. We regularly receive questions from participants about how this works. In the video series 'Philips Pensioenfonds explains' we answer the most frequently asked questions. The first two episodes are now available.
In the first video, Director of Pensions Mike Pernot answers the question: “Can my personal pension capital run out if your reach a higher than average age?” We can be clear about this: you will receive a lifelong pension in the new system as well. In the video Mike Pernot explains this further by using an example.
In the second video, Investment Director Anita Joosten answers the question: “Will my pension change every month?” The short answer is: no, your pension will not be adjusted every month. What will change every month is the amount of your personal pension capital, depending on the return on the investments.
