At the end of 2024, elections will take place for two members of the Board of Trustees on behalf of the pension recipients. Board membership is a task with great responsibility. The Board regularly makes decisions that affect the

Are you well informed about these pension developments or are you prepared to participate in them?
deepen? And are you able to weigh the interests of all stakeholders properly and honestly? Then you might be the candidate we are looking for.

A call was placed in the June edition of the magazine Generaties asking participants to register as candidates.

The deadline for submitting your nomination is 30 August 2024.

Composition of the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of Philips Pensioenfonds consists of twelve members: an independent chairman, three representatives on behalf of the employers, three representatives of the employees, two members on behalf of the pension recipients and three independent experts (the executive directors). Every four years, the representatives of the pension recipients in the Board of Trustees are (re)elected. Philips Pensioenfonds organizes elections for this purpose.

Are you the new board member we are looking for?
As a recipient of a pension from Philips Pensioenfonds, you can stand as a candidate for the elections of the Board of Trustees. To function well as a board member, you must have board skills and preferably have experience as a board member or in a supervisory position. Furthermore, you must have sufficient expertise in various areas of knowledge. Official eligibility requirements apply to all of this. You will also be tested on this, including by De Nederlandsche Bank.

We expect that, if necessary, you are prepared to increase your expertise by following training courses before you join the Board. Finally, you must have certain competencies. An extensive profile sketch can be found at the bottom of this web page.

It is important that the Board of Trustees is as diverse as possible. That is why women are particularly invited to put themselves forward as candidates.

Candidates through representative organizations
Not only pension recipients could apply. So-called representative organizations could also nominate candidates via an electoral list if they meet certain conditions.

How do you apply?
So-called representative organizations (such as the FPVG and the FNV) can nominate candidates via an electoral list. This electoral list contains the candidates who participate in the elections on behalf of the organization. Are you a member of an organization or would you like to become a member? Then you may be able to participate in the elections via an electoral list.

Until now, candidates from a representative organization have always been chosen through elections. However, you can also apply as an individual if you receive a pension from Philips Pension Fund. Would you like to apply as an individual? Certain conditions apply. Information about this can be found at the bottom of this web page.
